Warping Through Utah

Utah was honestly an insane experience for me. The farther I drove, the more it felt like i was warping into completely different worlds. The landscapes changed so drastically and so often that I could not stop staring out the window. Everywhere I looked was visually stunning.
The state is constantly breathtaking. One moment you are surrounded by towering mountains painted in different hues of red, orange and brown and the next you are driving through greenery filled with trees and open valleys. Some areas feel completely deserted and almost otherworldly, while others feel alive and full of nature. The contrast throughout Utah is incredible.
I stayed in the Cedar City area and visited both Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park. Zion is about an hour away and Bryce is about 2 hours away from Cedar City. So I definitely recommend giving yourself a few days to explore everything.
Zion was an amazing experience especially because I rented an e-bike to get around the park. I think I still would have loved it using the shuttle, but the e-bike made it feel much more immersive and freeing. Riding through the scenic views felt unreal.
On the other hand, Bryce Canyon completely blew me away. I have done a lot of hikes and this easily ranks in the top 5 favorites. The scenery almost did not feel real. Walking down into canyon surrounded by hoodoos and endless layers of rock formations. Easily one of the most memorable hiking experiences I ever had.
TIPS
SUNSCREEN
Rent a car. It's cheaper to get around this way.
The food scene is not that great, but the views make you forget about that small detail
Give yourself more time than you think you need.
Some hikes requires permits.
Where to stay
Airbnb - This Airbnb was such a beautiful experience. To get here, you'll need an AWD vehicle since the last mile is an unpaved road. The location is a bit remote, but that's part of what makes it so special. The views are stunning and the night sky is filled with stars! The host is incredibly accommodating. They provided me with fresh farm eggs from their chicken coop, which made the stay feel even more memorable and personal.
THINGS TO DO/ADDITIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Zion National Park - Rent E-bikes. They have free parking as well!
Bryce Canyon National Park - Sunset point
Peek A Boo Slot Canyon - Insane experience! Sand boarding in the dunes and a beautiful trail.
