The beaches in Curaçao are incredibly beautiful, even the ones near the more touristy areas feel like something out of a postcard. But the farther west you go, the more breathtaking they become, with clearer water, dramatic coastlines, and a sense of untouched tranquility. I truly enjoyed my time on the island. Curaçao isn’t the most lively destination during the week, so I’d definitely recommend planning a trip that includes the weekend, when the island feels more vibrant and there’s a bit more energy to experience.

Rent a car. It's cheaper to get around this way.

Where to stay

Airbnb - This is the Airbnb i stayed at while in Curaçao. It completely exceeded my expectations and honestly the photos truly don’t do it justice. The home is absolutely beautiful, with thoughtful décor and interior design that gives an authentic island feel. It’s also incredibly spacious, which is perfect for a big group. On top of that, the host showed exceptional hospitality and made the entire stay feel seamless and special. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the island.

This Airbnb was a close second. Although I did not get to stay on this property, i thought it was worth still noting.
