Portland, Oregon is a must visit. It's one of those places where you can wander through lush green forests in the morning, sip coffee by the afternoon, and finish your day with a meal that makes you question why this city’s food scene isn’t world famous already.

Everywhere you turn, there’s a trail calling your name. Portland is a hiker’s paradise. Nature isn’t just nearby, it’s part of the city’s rhythm. Now let’s talk food. Portland, Oregon food scene is insanely good. There's so much options to try and honestly, every place I dined at was a hit.

If I were to do it again, I would make Portland a road trip compared to a main stay. Don’t get me wrong, Portland itself deserves all the love; however, I wouuld definitely add a coastal drive up through Oregon’s scenic beaches and continue all the way to Mount Rainier National Park. The combination of city charm, coastal beauty, and mountain adventure would be the ultimate experience in my opinion

Where to stay

Airbnb - I stayed in a private guest house tucked behind the main home, and it couldn’t have been a better setup. The place was fully renovated with its own kitchen and bathroom, so it felt completely independent. Felt more like a small apartment than an Airbnb. It was quiet, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood itself was safe and peaceful, and having a dedicated parking spot made things super convenient. Overall, it was the perfect base for exploring Portland.
